The space

Immaculately renovated downstairs studio with its own exterior access in a multi-unit building only two blocks from downtown Santa Barbara & State Street. The original Spanish architecture has been preserved while offering modern upgrades & conveniences. Enjoy the stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking mountain views, open for guests between 8 am and 10 pm.

This 377 sqft king-bed unit is ideal for 2 guests and has a 55", flat-screen Sony Smart TV with streaming, casting, or Airplay features (no cable TV) and a Samsung split heating/AC system for ultimate comfort. A private en-suite bath with an ADA shower and kitchenette with Nespresso Vertuo coffee maker, mini - fridge, and microwave complete this stay in Santa Barbara. Pets are welcome with a $75 fee per stay. We ask not to leave pets unattended in the suite.

NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A $75/pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

LIVING WAGE PLEDGE: Our cleaning fee includes cleaning the unit and outdoor space, professionally. As part of The Living Wage Pledge, we are committed to paying our cleaners fairly. A living wage is a minimum income necessary for someone to meet their basic needs and participate in their community.

SUSTAINABILITY: To support sustainable tourism and reduce our carbon footprint, we provide Public Goods toiletries and green cleaning products.

BABY / CHILD AMENITIES: pack n' play and high chair available upon request. Please inquire when booking your stay.

Guest access

This is a self-serve stay. We provide contactless self-check-in. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, and a unique code matching the last four digits of your phone number on file will be generated and sent to you on check-in day via SMS.

We do not provide daily cleaning, however we are happy to refresh rooms for stays longer than 5 days, upon appointment. Please reach out to our hospitality team to switch out towels or request extra supplies.

Parking:

Casa De La Vina offers free guest parking in its private parking lot. One parking spot per unit on a first-come, first-serve basis. Free street parking is available if the lots are full.

Guest interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk, and we provide contactless self-check-in. In addition, we have a dedicated 24-hour hospitality phone line in case of emergencies so we are always just a call, text, or chat away to help assist you during your stay!

The neighborhood

Located within walking distance to nearly all restaurants and retail stores on the State Street corridor, 20+ tasting rooms, 10+ breweries, and countless choices for eating or drinking make this an ideal location for anything that may bring you to the world-renowned Santa Barbara Coast.

Santa Barbara Transit Center is five blocks away.

For security, there are cameras on the exterior of the building.

This complex does not have live TV service. Instead, all TVs have apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. The property has gigabit wifi, and the unit has a private network for guests to cast directly onto the TV.

Cancellation policy: Full refunds are available up to 24 hours in advance. A 4% credit card charge is assessed for cancellations made through direct sites and VRBO.

**Review for Casa de la Vina** I recently stayed at Casa de la Vina and was thoroughly impressed by the seamless experience from start to finish. The keyless check-in was a standout feature—using just my phone to unlock the suite door eliminated the need for front desk interactions and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. It was a refreshing change to bypass traditional check-in hassles and dive straight into relaxation. The suite itself was a dream. Great alternative to hotel accommodation

If you are looking at an option other than a hotel then you can’t go past this property. Very comfortable with small kitchen including fridge, microwave, crockery & cutlery (and not plastic). Location within walking distance of State Street. Definitely recommend & would rebook if ever in SB again.
